Make a Hedgehog Feeding Station

Don't let the Coronavirus boredom set in - this is great opportunity to make an 'all weather' hedgehog feeding station in your garden. Hedgehogs aren't keen on the rain!

Essentially grab a plastic box (ideally one with a lid for a base and see through so you can take a peek!), cut in a 13cm x 13cm doorway, secure jagged edges of doorway with tape, place down newspaper and a feeding bowl, place a heavy object on top so the cats don't tip it over get in ... and there you have it! An all weather cat and fox free feeding station! Get the kids to monitor activity and perhaps set up a wildlife camera at night to see who's coming for tea.

See photo for our attempt. Psst - We have no spare lid so the newspaper may get wet and need replacing pretty sharpish but you get the drift.

Do let us know how you get on!
